NEW OLD
SCHOOL ROCK
Hard Rock from Ioannina, Greece — 80s DNA, modern energy, female vocals, heavy riffs, synths and groove.
Felony Case is a Hard Rock band from Ioannina, Greece. Formed in early 2015, the band brought together musicians of different ages and varied musical backgrounds. Their compositions reflect the Hard Rock sound of the 1980s, with the additional energy of more recent years, killer solos and female rock vocals.
Born from a love for the “decade of decadence,” the band draws from glam and classic hard rock while refusing to stay trapped inside genre lines. Guitar riffs, heavy synth textures and a groove-driven rhythm section make up what the band calls New Old School Rock.

The second Felony Case EP, created in collaboration with George Tzachristas (Neperia/TZA): heavy synth sound, rock guitar distortion and extra funky grooves. The collaboration now continues into the band’s first full-length album.

NEW OLD SCHOOL ROCK · IOANNINA, GREECE
Felony Case is a Hard Rock band from Ioannina, Greece, formed in early 2015 by musicians from different generations and musical backgrounds. That mix has always been central to the band's identity: the melodic swagger and guitar-driven attitude of 1980s Hard Rock, carried forward with the weight, energy and groove of a modern rock band.
The starting point was the “decade of decadence” — the world of glam, classic and melodic hard rock — but Felony Case never set out to become a nostalgia act. Female rock vocals, big guitar hooks, a locked-in rhythm section and, increasingly, synth textures and funkier grooves turned those influences into what the band calls New Old School Rock.
That identity is most obvious on stage. Felony Case have moved between festival stages, club shows and stripped-down performances, building their live sound around an energy rush without losing the melodic side of the songs. Past appearances include StreetMode Festival, Artmode Festival, Ioannina Rock City and Castle Rock Festival, alongside support shows and collaborations with artists from the Greek rock scene.
The debut EP Strangers Give More arrived in 2019. In 2022 the band released Midnight Runner, developed in collaboration with George Tzachristas, bringing heavier synths, guitar distortion and extra groove into the Felony Case sound. That collaboration now continues as the band works on its first full-length album, together with previously unreleased material from the Felony Case archive.

“Felony Case rock us and put us on the mood early on.”Rock Overdose · StreetMode live report
From StreetMode Festival and Artmode Festival, through Ioannina Rock City and Castle Rock Festival, to support shows and smaller acoustic stages, the band's live identity has always been central: direct, melodic and built around crowd energy.
